I'm Joe, a photographer based in Leeds. I spend my days capturing sporting events and live performances, along with portraits and headshots for artists, performers and entrepreneurs across Leeds, Bradford and the wider West Yorkshire area.
Over the last 20 years I've worked across both the creative industry and corporate environments: small start-ups, recording studios, film sets and live broadcasts are just a few of the places I've called my office. That mix has given me a strong combination of an artist's eye and a producer's understanding of deadlines, briefs and budgets.
Whether I'm ringside at a sold-out wrestling show, shooting headshots for a working actor, or covering a live performance, my aim stays the same: to understand both the artistic and commercial goals of your project, and deliver images that serve your objects, whilst looking professional.
My photography skills sit alongside a history of music production, video editing and design. Understanding sound and edit pacing shapes how I frame a shot; knowing how a poster or promo reel gets used shapes how I shoot for it. It means the images I deliver aren't made in isolation from the rest of your project.
